NYC: Drafted!

June 25, 2007

This Wednesday, on the eve of the 2007 NBA draft, our bro Chris Isenberg over at No Mas is going to be staging perhaps his most ambitious foray yet into the awesome, occasionally painful zone where childhood nostalgia and obsessive sports fandom collide. The Lottery is an interactive art exhibit where each of the first one hundred lottery picks from past drafts (1985-1995) have been transfered onto 8"x10" works of art; ping pong balls turn seven lucky attendees into GMs who'll draft their picks from the wall. Isenberg hopes this will get attendees to "think about how weird it is that the lottery exists and has a huge effect on these players' lives." All we know is that we are going home from this thing with an '88 THUNDER DAN in tow.
