The eight pieces in the line are inspired by Fairey’s personal stash of Levi’s with silhouettes, finishes and the smallest distressed details taken from his favorite true blues, including this hooded denim jacket. We have 10 limited-edition posters of artwork featured in the collection—all doubled sided—to give away. Twenty-five years ago, Rick Rubin founded Def Jam in his NYU dorm room. With and without him, Def Jam went on to produce great music and do even greater things for hip hop. This year, VH1 is honoring the label exclusively at its annual Hip Hop Honors award show and we have two tickets to give away to the show’s taping. Though it will air on VH1 on Tuesday, October 13th, the taping is this Wednesday, September 23rd in New York City.
