FADER TV: On The Road With Bacardi B-LIVE Episode 20 – New Orleans

DJ AM, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Matt & Kim entertained the beaded masses in New Orleans on this very special episode of On The Road With Bacardi B-LIVE. AM and Jazzy Jeff’s interview in the stairwell was actually interrupted by some voluptuous ladies who invited the boys to another bar with them. Sadly, the offer was declined. But we did learn that AM rode the same train as Jazzy when they were growing up in Philly, AND that he loves FADER 62’s cover artist Phoenix. So all’s well that ends well? FADER TV: On The Road With Bacardi B-LIVE Episode 18 – Atlanta

Bacardi B-LIVE took it to the South for a good old fashioned dance party in Atlanta with Matt & Kim, MSTRKRFT, and A-Trak. Earlier in the series, you might have seen Matt & Kim rocking their own songs pretty hard, but this time they’re playing a well-known classic, enjoyed at sporting events and hipster hangouts alike. Watch their rendition of Final Countdown and stay tuned for some A-Trak jams!

FADER TV: On The Road With Bacardi B-LIVE, Episode 16 – Columbus

Bacardi B-LIVE 2009 is in the home stretch, with only a handful of shows left on the schedule, so we thought it was about time we checked in on Ghostland Observatory, who’ve played several of the shows along the way. For this episode, we caught a little of their stage antics and then sat them on a couch to chop it up. They’re totally Southern! Who knew? Ever since our rabbit-eared TV conked out, we’ve been missing our regular doses of Cleveland via Drew Carey reruns. So it’s nice that Bacardi B-LIVE 2009 stopped there with Z-Trip and MSTRKRFT to remind us just how lovely a city it truly is. At least as far as we can tell from all the strobelights, cute girls and interesting fashion choices. Howard the Duck, also from Cleveland. Austin: FADER Presents Soundcheck with Prince Klassen

It is incredibly hard to believe that the Bacardi B-LIVE tour is still going strong, but it is and we are totally into it. This time around our roving band of musicians/DJs/camera people/Bacardi-related drinks are linking up with Prince Klassen and hitting the Scoot Inn in Austin for a night of craziness. FADER TV: On the Road with Bacardi B-LIVE, Episode 10, New York

In this very special episode of On the Road with Bacardi B-LIVE in our very own city of NEW YORK, NEW YORK, DJ Jazzy Jeff confronts some, erhm, events that transpired back in Kansas City. We won’t get into it, but schedules were mixed up, people were asked to leave the stage, and the show did not go on. FADER TV gave Jazzy a chance to clear the water (albeit he is bathed in lighting that looks like an unsolved mysteries interview) and everything seems pretty kosher now.

NYC: Bacardi B-Live Pre-Show With Egg Foo Young

Last night at Greenhouse in Lower Manhattan, a cavalcade of party-lovers and dancefloor freaks convened to pregame for the upcoming Bacardi B-Live tour in NYC, going down June 17. Amid the sparkle of flashing lights and a jilliion tiny discoballs hanging from the ceiling like rave stalactites, FADER-beloved DJ Egg Foo Young played a fire-y selection of house, R&B, and dancefloor beats. Photos were shot. Mojitos were imbibed. The world’s best-selling soprano was randomly in the house. A certain FADER editor may have been coerced by her coworkers into having a vogue-style dance-off with a raver chick. It was four hours of awesome and we’d do it all again.
