Chamillionaire Goes Full Ninja

Texas-gone-worldwide fave rapper Chamillionaire is coming out the gate of his two-year hiatus with a vengeance—and he’s got the potential album titles to prove it. But he hasn’t yet decided on what to call his third studio album, because THE OPTIONS ARE ALL SIMPLY TOO AMAZING. So instead he’s holding a contest so fans can vote on the best, and continuing his string of apparently Mortal Kombat-influenced titles (The Sound of Revenge, Ultimate Victory), choices include BACK FOR REVENGE, REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY and GOOD MOURNING (”Taking hard times and looking at the good side. The Mourning is spelled like the mourning of a death. The good and the bad”). We are rooting for VENOM, which is an acronym for “Visually entertaining negatives of money.” Meanwhile, we think Cham should copyright the remaining titles and produce a series of eponymous action movies starring Nicholas Cage and 1900 explosions each. THE ANTIDOTE, dudes.

Hyphy and Houston may not exactly be on the tips of tongues right now, but we continue to stay vigilant, for even in the dryest times the jams continue to trickle. The most recent of these is FAB’s new song with three of Houston’s most well-known. And though Paul indeed says some shit about his “Jolly Rancher paint” this still sounds pretty fresh.
