We have also decided that Wale’s voice is in direct center on the Black Thought<-->Dice Raw spectrum. Maybe they could join up with Grandaddy IU and start a barbershop quartet or something.

What’s funny about this is that we’ve put both Wale and Chrisette Michelle in our magazine before. We see what you’re doing Roots! For real though, The Roots put together a solid rap album this time around and now that they’ve ditched “Birthday Girl,” this is the most upbeat jam on the whole thing.
