Contest: Win Tickets to See Bon Iver Perform in a Cemetery at Sunrise

This show is going to be amazing. On September 27th, Bon Iver will be performing at the Hollywood Forever cemetery in Los Angeles at sunrise (also known as right around 6am). Here’s the awesome part: doors are at midnight, leaving you plenty of time to get a good spot, be a little weirded out that you’re in a cemetery at night, get over it and then feel really good about Bon Iver waking the dead and also that you get a free breakfast included in the cost of the ticket. If we were in LA and more selfish, we would be waiting in line already with these tickets, but we’re not, so let us know how bad you want to go in the comments of this post (remember to use your actual email address) and we’ll pick a lucky winner. If you’re a music fan (and if you’re reading this you probably are) keeping track of all the summer music festivals can be kind of a drag. It takes a lot of brain power to remember who’s reuniting where and what band is playing their classic album in its entirety and would you rather see Kraftwerk or Depeche Mode? It sucks to have to make that kind of decision. While we can’t promise that you won’t run into scheduling mishaps at this year’s Lollapalooza, we can promise you that a million awesome bands are playing there. So many in fact, that some of the type on this flyer is borderline unreadable. Let’s just say that your favorite band is probably playing, and you probably want to go see them. Memorial Day weekend is pretty much here so we thought for a second about skipping town and heading to San Francisco to catch Bun B and Mike Jones at the Mezzanine this Saturday. It turns out that plane tickets are kind of expensive during long weekends though, who would have thought?
