Crookers f. Kardinal Offishall & Carla-Marie, “Put Your Hands On Me” MP3

Since we caught up with them in Milan for FADER #55, Crookers have A) basically made Kid Cudi into a star with their “Day N Nite” remix (nobody ever doesn’t play that remix, right?) and B) gone completely massive globally, which if you’ve ever heard any of their tracks and/or mixes, like duh. They’ve also been working on their debut album, Tons of Friends, which features a crazy assortment of guest stars ranging from Kelis to Soulwax to Radioclit to Roisin Murphy, and is sure to be next-level bonkers if it corresponds even a tiny bit to the naked illuminatus on their album art. That’s out 2010, this Kardi/Carla-Marie jawn is their first single, it’s the kind of track you throw on while you shower before you go out to the club to get epically amped.

Freeload: Kardinal Offishall f. Clipse & Dr. Dre, “Set It Off (Remix)”

What can you say really? Kardi is making crazy club songs, Clipse are responding to Pitchfork reviews and Dre sounds like Paris. Is it 2009 yet?

Video: Polow And Bangladesh At Castle T-Pania

There literally is not one person who appears or is talked about in this newest episode of Bangladesh TV, filmed at a T-Pain album party, who hasn’t been in the pages of The FADER. In fact, the one dude doing most of the talking, Polow Da Don, shared an issue with Bill Callahan, successfully forming one of our oddest cover duos ever (Smog not big triangle samples and goblin voices, maybe should be). The best thing about the video though is that those of us who didn’t get to interview Polow for that story can now imagine how much fun it must have been listening to him talk this fast about Rich Boy for three days.

Freeload: Estelle f. Kardinal Offishal, “Magnificent”

Everyone from Cipha to the Queen of England is jamming “American Boy” at this point, so we went to Estelle’s MySpace to see what else was going on, saw our boy Kardinal in her top buddies, clicked on his shit and found this. We’re going to go out on a limb and say the following: This is a jam. We weren’t really feeling Kardi’s “Dangerous” single with Akon, but this is in the “Ol Time Killin” lane, with Marky Mark Ronson doing a nice little rocksteady on the beat. We were just thinking the other day that Mark should get together with Jah Cure, but we were also 19 pina coladas into the wind at the time.

Freeload: Bishop Lamont & Black Milk’s Caltroit Mixtape

We heard beats Black Milk was working on for this mixtape when we interviewed him a while back but he definitely forgot to mention that Kardinal Offishal and, ahem, MS. FREAKING JADE (and Lady of Rage?) were on it. If you haven’t noticed we play old Jade joints every week on the Let Out, so we are pumped to have some new material. Thanks dudes. The whole tape is really good though so go get it.
