I Was A King‘s new self-titled album was recorded in Brooklyn, in a short, three-day session. The band managed to produce a large set of well honed, pop songs within the short time-frame, creating the crafted sound heard on the new album. Though they have only been around on the scene for a few years now, they’ve collaborated with the likes of Sufjan Stevens, Danielson, Serena Maneesh and Ladybug Transistor, giving the band the credibility they might need to break free of the Scandinavian indie stereotype. read more »
