This video is awesome because Jay-Z rapping in a warehouse alone is one step above lip-synching in the mirror with a hairbrush. Do you think he does that? Like Soulja Boy style, “What’s up” to himself in the mirror, then does a little a cappella to his own shit? Well maybe he uses Beyonce’s hairdryer, those are more effective as Sinatra-era microphones.

Though the photo above might lead you to believe that Wayne is an Orlando Magic fan, we’re more likely to believe he is a mercenary for David Stern, picking up big checks from the NBA whenever his services are needed. Case in point: this new ode to Kobe Bryant, which has got to be Stern’s attempt to prevent Kobe from rapping his theme song himself. Then again, maybe Wayne just loves Lake Show.

Some of us don’t have cable and are sweating the possibility that games five through seven of the NBA Finals, aka Superman vs Black Mamba, might air on network television just after the imminent Government Conspiracy to Make Us Buy Things Day. This whole playoffs has seemingly aired on cable television, forcing rabbit ear twisters and foilers to actually leave the house and watch the games at bars or friends’ houses, which of course only leads to drunkenness and/or highness from drugs. Is that what Barack Obama really wants? A people drunk and high roaming the streets asking where they can find Superman? Doubtful! The whole thing just us makes so mad we want to KARATE CHOP A LIGHTNING BOLT. Just like Leroy Smith aka Black Mamba’s father in this shit.
