NYC: Turkey Leg From Mi Eat

If you’re not obligated by blood to leave New York for the holiday weekend, our dude Munga Honorable is in town for a Thanksgiving Eve performance at Element at which it is promised Munga CHARGES THE STAGE, AND THE YELLS IN HIS SIGNATURE YEEEEES! YEE EEES! AND 1400+ PEOPLE ERUPT!!! THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN ON THE CHINATOWN EXPRESS PEOPLE!! Okay we added that last part but it’s true.

Video: Munga, “Bad From Mi Born”

We featured Munga a couple of issues ago (read it here) and have posted a song everytime we catch one. But “Bad From Mi Born” just hit #1 in Jamaica this week, so we’re offering up this split video which opens with “Flipping Rhymes” and ends with Munga’s brand new big smash.

Audio: Munga f. Akon, “Presentation”

Akon, the Konvict Muzik chieftan and patron saint of thefader.com, rocked at the Live Earth benefit for global warming – ’scuse us, CLIMATE CHANGE – this past weekend at Giants Stadium. He ran through the hits of course, but if we were handling the Senegalan’s setlist we would have made sure his guitar-strumming collab with Munga Honorable got some stage time, if only to introduce Al Gore to the possibility of jacking Munga’s “YES, YESSSS!” as a new catchphrase.
