Video: Redlight f. Redskin, Zaniah & Dreadmc, “Feels So Good”

After discovering the new black-light effective denim and spending our morning rocking the hits of Cole & Clivilles, we definitely feel a way about this video for Redlight’s jungle-y “Feels So Good.” Dancers in ’90s rave masks (JabbaWockeez?), a diva who looks like Basquiat-era Madonna, a Brit source blog declaring, “It’s official: rave is back!” But see it doesn’t feel like nostalgia so much as immediately awesome, cause the right-now vibe is just about getting hype—anybody who’s been to Flashing Lights in NYC can tell you as much. Probably won’t break out the glow in the dark boyfriend jeans just yet, but a couple months ago we came home from 88 Palace with a whistle in our pocketbook and no idea how it got there, but we were glad to have it. Just in case. Meanwhile London can get down with Redlight live tomorrow at Fabric’s Beatdown ‘09 with like, everyone. (via We Are Darlings)

Video: Slyde, “Block Parties”

Celebrating the thing we will probably miss most about summer, UK production team Slyde’s new single captures some of the illest street dancing from the biggest of pavement soirees. It hurts our hearts when three-year-olds dance better than us, but still, we can put aside our feelings and be melancholy for the get down. Tune’s pretty hot too, a high-energy break with throbbing bass crescendos and a super spirited chick shouting out said block parties who is probably younger than our youngest sibling’s baby. It’s cool though because, again, we are into child prodigies. The middle part of the video breaks down into the block party where you took ketamine, but then it goes back to normal. Apparently the B-Side to this track is called “Miami Bitch.” (via Discobelle)

TAKE JUSTICE (and maybe a weiner) INTO YOUR OWN HANDS!

Easy, vigilante tough guy, we’re only talking about artist Ron Winter’s crackily-addictive new flash keyboard that appears to have patched into Justice’s GarageBand and George Michael’s loins circa Wham! If someone can tell us how to actually record the fucking amazing songs we’re playing on this thing we’ll give you a cut of our post-blowup tour revenues.
