Remember that time your mom went out of town and instead of her breast milk you got some lukewarm Yoo-hoo from your dad? Oh that’s right you don’t remember that because you were a baby. Well, it messed you up. Trust us. It made you get drunk in high school and make out with losers after college. It might even be the reason you are wearing those pants. Just saying the disclaimer that “No children were harmed in the making of this video” for “Kids” by MGMT seems a little dubious considering they scared the living shit out of this little dude and probably for more than one take. Then he watches a psychedelic puppet show and THEN turns into an animated cheeseburger. Here’s our disclaimer: Do not let Ray Tintori babysit for you even if he has really good references. If you’re going to go to the trouble of being rave hobbits, as MGMT does in their new video directed by Partizan’s Ray Tintori, you might as well turn it into an orgy of digital body paint dipped from a punctured moon, a cartoon bat carrying Frankenstein’s head in its mouth, chicken masks, flying motorcycles, and of course, The Rock-afire Explosion. This is the second version of “Electric Feel” made by Tintori with the band, the first of which was an interactive choose your own adventure that is still available for download here.
