Their Shoes

The opening of yet another NYC kicks outpost might not seem like the most interesting thing in the world. But when it's as heavily focused as Flight Club on Greene St (between 8th and Waverly), we've gotta pause and take notice.

The shop is plastered wall-to-wall with vintage Jordan/Nike advertisements, and stocked with boxes upon boxes of rare and vintage sneaks - stocked on a consignment basis with some of the city's top collectors.

There's a lot of recent "limited" Dunk-ery, for sure, but there's more than enough hard to find J's and other models, all expertly displayed in a throwback Mom and Pop store shrinkwrap style - plus a display case featuring the extra extra valuable joints. Our favorites were the black and blue 'Sheed hi-tops, and some weird early 90s hiking shoes we'd never seen before, but that's just the tip of the iceberg here. Go down and check the place out.
