No biggie, just a quick shout out to The Alternative, VH1 Classic's weekly ode to all the angst and haircuts we were too young to really appreciate the first time around. On this past weekend's edition, they dropped Flesh For Lulu's Some Kind Of Wonderful jam "I Go Crazy", which would be more than shoutworthy on its own. But then they went into the absolutely genius one-two of "Need You Around" by bald mopesters the Smoking Popes, followed by a gladiolus-laden appearance by pompadoured mopester Morrissey on Hangin With MTV. Somebody at VH1 is earning that paycheck (none of these joints are YouTubeable, either!) and we just wanted to share some appreciation. Now just give Uncle Ralph two hours to do the same thing with his Video Music Box archives and we'll be skrate.
