If you like your mustaches pencil-thin and your 96-gallon recycling bins decorated by local Baltimore artists (and dudes who played prominent roles in front of and behind the camera on John Waters?s films), get to The Whole Gallery in Baltimore this Friday, September 22nd for a tribute exhibit by Virgin Mobile and Global Inheritance?s TRASHed. Each of the 17 recycling bins in the show is painted with art based on a different Waters film, and this is the only time that they will be shown all together. After you?ve had your fill of free cocktails and garbage art at the Gallery, go home and rest up for the Virgin Festival at the Pimlico Race Course the very next day. TRASHed will have the art pieces displayed throughout the grounds, as well as an open recycling store where you can bring recyclable material you find at the festival and exchange it for stuff that you?d actually want to keep.
