Before the punks jumped to get beat down, before Busta was touching everything, there were good times. Brand Nubian wore white shorts cut at the knee and danced, and Busta wore homemade neon puff-suits and waved his arms at chickens in Central Park. We're not asking for a time machine, but we can definitely appreciate a little nostalgia every now and then, especially when we're trapped inside by arctic NYC winter. One of the dudes who exemplifies that era of upbeat samples and uptempo beats (among many other things) is producer and A&R man Dante Ross of the Stimulated Dummies, and it just so happens he's DJing tonight at the Salty Crackers party downstairs at APT. Judging by dude's discography, we're going to guess it will be fairly jamming. Check the flyer here, and after the jump, watch two more classic SD YouTubes from Brand Nubian and Grand Puba.
