Oddly in step with our office-wide grass tokery, weekend tie-dyeing (seriously!) and our new Jerry Garcia issue, the good humans at the Whitney Museum of America Art, bka intimidating art people, will be throwing their doors open on May 24th for Summer of Love: Art of the Psychedelic Era. Look forward to work from Robert Indiana and Richard Avedon, vintage films showing Human Be-Ins featuring Allen Ginsberg and Timothy Leary, and (beatnik drum roll please) Jimi Hendrix’s only known watercolor. Once we finish dropping these white tabs of “whatever this is,” you will most definitely find us uptown and grooving.
