Open Bar With Frankie Rose & The Outs, “Candy”

July 28, 2010

The illustrious Frankie Rose & The Outs came to visit us at Heathers Bar in the East Village—a convenient L train ride away for local Brooklyn gals like themselves. They were already propped up on the bar with guitars and drinks in hand when we walked in to greet them, which set the tone for one of the most collaborative, estrogen-powered Open Bars of all time and made us want to be best friends with them forever. But we may only have a small window of time before Frankie and company get too big for BFF status. Their self-titled debut album is out September 21st on Slumberland Records, and they're going on the road with Woven Bones in October. Oh, and for the next four days, you can help them raise money to buy a van for the tour via Kickstarter. Donating gets you all kinds of awesome prizes, including a chance to win your own private house party with these fair ladies.
