It's a known fact that simplicity and functionality is at the heart of all the best menswear, and the truly innovative men's designers, like newbies Vidur, know how to put just the right amount of twist on the simple classics to make them beautifully, but subtly, interesting. Vidur is the Icelandic word for "wood," and their design philosophy is as straightforward as can be: "to create garments that are elemental, functional and enduring." And you can see that everywhere in their windbreakers, sweat pants, Oxfords and outerwear, which are reinvented largely in their lengths—pants are shorter, shirts are longer, jackets are cropped at the half-way point. They'll be showing their next collection as part of London: Men's Collections come January.
