Rag & Bone Made Coogi-Inspired Knits for Fall ‘14

See NYFW runway looks that would’ve made The Notorious B.I.G. proud.

February 08, 2014

Last night on the ritzy runways of NYFW, Rag & Bone kept things distinctly Brooklyn in a very B.I.G. way and sent out Coogi-inspired knits for their fall 2014 collection. Bookended by rich shearling overcoats and sharply-tailored suiting, designers Marcus Wainwright and David Neville presented sweaters, pencil skirts and a full dress in the signature squiggly knit that ruled mid-late 90s style. While Style.com identified the looks as 'Cosby sweaters', we prefer to ascribe this swag to the Notorious B.I.G..Take a closer look at the knockout knits below and while you're in the spirit of Coogis and all-things-90s, read our FADER 73 Icon Issue dedicated to the late, great Biggie Smalls and read our FADER 61 interview with Groovy Lew, the legendary stylist who dressed Brooklyn's larger-than-life rapper.
