Watch Tinashe And ScHoolboy Q On Jimmy Kimmel Live

The budding star celebrated the release of her debut album Aquarius live on late night TV.

October 10, 2014

Last night, Tinashe stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! to celebrate the release of her big debut album Aquarius and perform her star-making hit "2 On" with her collaborator ScHoolboy Q, a flank of backup dancers, and a drummer. She wore a match-y cobalt blue crop top and leather sweats, and nailed the choreography without missing a note– like the consummate star she now is. If you haven't checked out Aquarius yet, you should.

In related news, earlier this week Tinashe admitted to FADER that she wrote J. Lo's "I Luh Ya Papi" and had planned on it being her lead single, rather than "2 On." Things seemed to have worked out for her regardless, but to hear the rest of that story hop on over here.

UPDATE: Also on Kimmel last night was ScHoolboy Q's mother, who gamely recited a verse from "Collard Greens," debunking that weed steady blowin', passed the blunt to my momma line in the process. "I never smoked weed with that boy," she says, shaking her head. Guess Quincy has some explaining to do... Anyways, it's very cute; check it out below.
