Tom Trago’s “Hidden Heart Of Gold” Is 24 Karat Dance Perfection

Dutch producer Tom Trago is returning to his Voyage Direct label to release a brand spanking new single, "Hidden Heart of Gold," on March 9; the single precedes the label's forthcoming compilation, and it's quite a taster. This shifting A-side is backed by an "ambient" B-side, and Trago told FADER in an email that it carries some emotional heft: "Emotionally i feel the track is like in the eye of a storm, its touches me on multiple sides of my emotional spectrum. it can make me very calm, although the vibe is quite intense. It was created in my new studio, so it also reflects my new way of working which tends to be a bit more free. The ambient version was created when my heart was in a sad place because of the loss of a good friend who died in the MH17 crash."
