It's been fun to watch grime inch up on the U.S. from across the pond. London producer Darq E Freaker's made some bangers with Danny Brown and has gained a rep for riotous DJ sets of his own, and today we get another early-hour knocker that'll be sneaking onto playlists in no time. "Choppin Necks" sounds like day-drinking in winter: club kid Dai Burger pulls off New York bird talk expertly, and Freaker's sing-song chorus layered under jagged snares gleefully hacks at the jugular. Freaker and Burger are both dropping projects this year, enjoy the first spin.
