There's a light, albeit a very stylish one, at the end of the tunnel for Pharrell Williams. Today, the Council of Fashion Designers of America announced that Williams will be the recipient of its annual Icon Award. The award news arrives in the midst of litigation woes that Pharrell, T.I. and Robin Thicke are facing against Marvin Gaye's estate over their 2013 mega-hit, "Blurred Lines." The Icon Award, which has already been handed out to the likes of Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Kate Moss, is an given to an "individual whose style has made a significant impact on popular culture internationally." The CFDA Fashion Awards will take place on June 1st, 2015 at Lincoln Center in NYC.
