The Video For Fono’s “Real Joy” Is Violent And Touching

The hot-to-trot dance tune gets a crazy clip.

The video for Brighton producer Fono's debut single "Real Joy" begins with two friends seemingly having fun, and then it gets serious—like, guns, punches, kicks, and other stuff serious. I don't want to spoil it for you, but the whole thing escalates gradually before coming to an ending that's kind of...touching? Strange, I know—and the song is really good, too, so there's that. "Real Joy" sees release as a single on June 14 via Relentless. Here's what Fono had to say about the video: "The video plays on the idea that we all experience joy in different ways. It's not about violence, it's about passion, love and trust. Just like the track it pushes the boundaries of what we know and what feels comfortable."
