Wales Finds Peace In Public In His Self-Directed “Falling” Video

“It’s about slowing down time and letting go, finding some kind of inner-peace.”

"Falling", the serene second single from composer and film director Samuel Aaron Bennet (aka Wales), is the sort of song that can quiet the din of the world around you. This new video brings that to life, capturing everyday people experiencing peaceful moments in public—at the laundromat, on an empty subway car, in the office after everyone else has gone home. "It's about slowing down time and letting go, finding some kind of inner-peace," Bennett, who directed and shot the video himself, told The FADER over email. "I wanted that moment to feel real and unrehearsed, so I made a conscious decision to cast non-actors."
