San Francisco's Plush is very aptly named band. Their new EP Please will be out April 29 on Father Daughter Records, and today they're sharing the EP's first single, "Sheer Power" with us. It's a stunning song with intricate layers of shoegaze-y guitar that express confident craving—I know what I want, sings Plush's vocalist and guitarist Karli Roberts-Helm, It only lasted a moment/ I pray I find it again.

“The song sort of came together unintentionally," Roberts-Helm told The FADER over email. "I've always wanted to write a song about my sexuality, more so sex specifically and feeling empowered through the act. As a woman, I think that’s extremely important.”
