Parquet Courts Bring “Berlin Got Blurry” To Conan

“It feels so effortless to be a stranger.”

According to a statement from Parquet Courts' Andrew Savage, "'Berlin Got Blurry' is a song about saying goodbye to someone from the other side of the world. About feeling completely foreign to your environment; knowing you can't go home, but not knowing where you belong."

The band performed the track last night on Conan. Cell phone service is not that expensive, Savage sings. But that takes commitment, and you just don’t have it/ It feels so effortless to be a stranger.

"Berlin Got Blurry" will appear as the ninth track on Human Performance. Look for the new record on April 8.
