Derin Falana, the Brampton, Ontario rapper who recently released his Live From Rocky Mountain project, returns today with a music video for the mixtape cut "Bet." Shot in parts of his suburban hometown — locals will recognize popular local diner Sonny's — as well as downtown Toronto, the clip matches the track's gloomy energy thanks to Falana's expressive rejection of two-faced frauds. Over email, he told us how they inspired the track. "This song really stuck on the project for me because I had to go through situations questioning if someone was really being genuine or were they just acting to fulfill their own hidden agenda. 'Bet' is an anthem for anybody that ever had to question somebody else's motives during their journey."
