The internet has been in a frenzy since Drake presented Rihanna with her Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs and on Tuesday afternoon, some fans freaked out at the discovery of a mysterious website, DrakeAndRihanna.com. A source close to Rihanna told The FADER on Tuesday that it's a "fake site" and it has "nothing to do with her/him." That source was right, it was actually a stunt website created by Super Deluxe and Joanne The Scammer (as New York Magazine revealed).

On Tuesday afternoon the site showed a countdown clock counting down to September 8 at 9 p.m. right inbetween Drake's two shows at the Staples Center. But at 6 p.m. the site changed to a video of Joanne reciting a monologue about how she was mad at Drake for not saying hi to her at the VMAs.

Joanne ends the video by saying, "this website is a hoax and now I can move on with my god damn life."

A rep for Drake did not immediately return a request for comment.

This post has been updated and corrected after the site changed at 6:00 p.m.
