A Tribe Called Quest Might Get Its First Number One Album In Over 20 Years

Billboard has reported that We got it from Here... Thank You 4 Your service, the sixth and final album from A Tribe Called Quest, will likely reach 120,000 copies in first week sales, with streaming numbers included, to arrive at the top of Billboard 200. If this happens, it would be the first time the New York City group has debuted at number one since their fourth album Beats, Rhymes & Life in 1996.

ATCQ's Jarobi White discussed the record's urgency and political heft in an interview with The FADER. “A lot of the things we put in this album, it’s not for shits and giggles. It’s not for fucking entertainment.
