Bon Iver's performance during the first weekend of the 2017 Coachella Festival included a very cool, prominent and unexpected shout-out to Discwoman. The Brooklyn electronic music collective was founded by Frankie Hutchinson, UMFANG, and Christine Tran with a mandate of creating spaces for marginalized and otherwise overlooked communities in dance music.

The Discwoman Twitter account posted a shot of Bon Iver performing at Coachella from the crowd, with some appreciative blushing emojis.
