Missy Elliott and Timbaland are back in the studio together

Missy Elliott has been in the studio working on new music that she's expected to release in 2019. After teasing new releases earlier this year, she tweeted a picture of herself in the studio with Timbaland last night. The dynamic duo is reportedly "cooking" up something new for fans, but Elliott didn't expound on what fans can expect from the two this time around. The video of the two in the studio doesn't even include a song snippet.

Of course, the Supa Dupa Fly pair's track record speaks for itself, so the small hint at new material was all it took to get fans excited.

Elliott was reportedly nominated for the Songwriters Hall of Fame class of 2019 recently. She's the first rapper who is a woman to be considered for the honor.
