Norway’s girl in red is back to make us question everything with her brilliantly depressing new song "I'll Die Anyway." Over new wave-inspired guitars 20-year-old Marie Ulven from Oslo paints a familar tale of self-doubt and unknowing as she sings: "I reach for me but I'm not there, I always wonder why I'm here. It's fine, it's OK. I'll die anyway."

The song will feature on Ulven's upcoming Chapter 2 EP and is premiering above via a video comprised of home footage, lifted directly from Ulven's childhood. These adorable memories are then cut with present day shots of her gazing into her laptop.

Speaking to The FADER via email, Ulven said “I think this is the most honest song I’ve written on how I perceive my life. Understanding life and what it means to be human is difficult. I’ve always questioned my existence, meaning, time and the universe. All I know is that I don’t know."
