Normani has revealed that her Sweetener tourmate Ariana Grande has been instrumental in helping her put together her upcoming album — and, specifically, its new single “Motivation.” “I talk to her about the creative process. I’m like, “When did you know your album was done?” [and she’s] just like, “Honestly, you’ll know,”” the singer told Rolling Stone.

“She's dope,” the musician continued. “She also has a part in the record that I’m releasing, too. She wrote on it." That record would be “Motivation,” which is set to release this Friday. The song was also co-written with ILYA, one of Grande’s main collaborators, who co-wrote around half of both Sweetener and thank u, next. View the “Motivation” cover art below.
