Like the melding of chocolate and peanut butter in a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, a three CD boxset of reggae artists like Anton Ellis, Dawn Penn and the Maytals covering the Fabs is sweet as hell and only occasionally too much to handle.

Early faves are mixed with some later jams for some nice breezy tings, but the real killer cut is Desmond Dekker doing “Blackbird.” Almost makes up for Sir Paul’s AmeriQuest Mortgage SuperBowl XXXIX Halftime Show.
