Last night we dipped into the Merc for the air conditioning and to catch the art party from NY/DC crew Supersystem. The band had the crowd dancing so hard that pants were literally falling off asses. And they were some tight pants too!
We particularly like how the group's three frontmen all have completely different facial expressions when they're singing. Guitarist Rafael Cohen looks like he's trying to remember somebody's name, keyboardist Pete Cafarella looks like he's telling a funny anecdote, and bassist Justin Moyer looks like he's throwing a temper tantrum.
Their new album Always Never Again came out on Touch And Go last week. They didn't play our favorite song from it, but we're not mad at them at all.
