Sure, yet another Jay-Z related sneaker isn’t particularly newsworthy. But when it’s a Bono and Mario Batali custom model too? What is going on?

All those baller-types are friends of the NYC “gastro pub” The Spotted Pig, and DC Shoe Co. is getting ready to release a limited edition (duh) series of Spotted Pig kicks – three different colors, but the all-orange one is our fave. COLORED MIDSOLES, PEOPLE! They’re not for sale though, folks. These are only for employees of the Pig.

(Where’s the all-black, patent leather Nobu hi-top though?)
