It’s some real Lonnie Lynn mania around NYC right now.
From the Be ads stapled around lightposts and blasting on television (yes, “Executive Produced by Kanye West”, WE GET IT DUDE!), to interoffice convos about the Hardy Boys joints off his old LP, to people just talking about buying the record tomorrow (People NEVER talk about buying records!), the Common sense is running rampant. That’s not even including all the promo events & related parties set to go down throughout the week. The SOBs jumpoffs are long sold out, but you can check the afterparty at APT tonight (click here for the big flyer), with some funk-n-soul heavy hitters on the decks, plus open bar from 9-10 while they bump Be.
