Bloc Rock

Bloc Party’s second and final show at NYC’s Webster Hall was, in a word, specnificent! Maybe it was the second encore (new songs to boot!), or all the stage diving, or Kele leaving the mic stand and getting behind the drum kit that made it extra live. But in truth, it was all that and more.

The audience sang every word of Silent Alarm together, their jumps and head-nods unwittingly synchronized; the whole thing reaffirmed our faith that Bloc Party is here to stay (although the baptizing showers of alcohol may have helped a little.)

Don’t take our word for it, though – check the snappies.
