RIP to Willie Hutch, singer, songwriter and guitarist behind the Jackson 5’s “I’ll Be There”, various hits for Smokey Robinson and Marvin Gaye, the soundtracks to The Mack and Foxy Brown, and “Tell Me Why Has Our Love Turned Cold”, the sample source to one of our favorite songs of the year. He passed away this Monday.
