Stuff

Yeah, the speed and ease of this boundary-obliterating information superhighway is the shit and all, but there’s still something to be said for throwback Xerox-ery. Our dude Schnipper has been keeping it nice and weird down in DC for a minute, and his latest project is Schnipper’s, a zine featuring alphabetical entries of his life (this issue is “Record Collection”, and the follow-up is “Things In My Parent’s House”).

The 28 page compendium goes from Sun Ra to Tchicai, John to UGK, and the only thing more priceless than the album shots, all held up next to Schip’s face in extreme close up, is the commentary (“The cover of the record looks like a bad Nicole Miller blouse from 1987″). Suffice it to say this will be the best $2.50 you’ll spend all week. Hit dude up with some PayPal duckets and thank us later.

can a dude still purchase these for american dollars?
are there any still sitting around getting dusty somewhere?
I know these are creeping on 3 years old (aka ancient in internet-time), but I’d love to get my hands on the originals.

ps – I bugged Schnipper one time and he let me write one… a subpar one… but one nonetheless

pps – none of the mp3′s work with the the A-Z posts… bummed. re-up or something?
