Shoplifters Of The World Unite

What a super Tuesday! But something is weighing us down. Are our hearts heavy? Hell nah! Well then what is it? Oh that’s right! It’s all this cheddar in our pockets! Time to lighten the load and buy some records. Come follow we on this journey!

Among those with CDs out today is a young dude on the come up named Curtis Jackson. Going by the handle 50 Cent, Jackson is dropping the soundtrack to a little movie he’s got coming out called Get Rich Or Die Tryin’. Allow him to introduce himself, this guy might be going places. For more rap musics, listen to what making $8 an album sounds like on Sheek Louch’s Koch debut After Taxes, and have yourself a chuckle with the laffy taffy of Hotlanta’s D4L. If you need to get familiar, go yonder and listen to Down 4 Life here.

On the rock and roll side of the coin, you could do worse then to ride with the thunder and lightning duo of Hella, who unleash Concentration Face/Homeboy on you, the unsuspecting public. Grizzly Bear gets blood on the dancefloor with their remix album, Horn Of Plenty, and none other than NEIL MOTHERFUCKING DIAMOND is back with a Rick Rubin-helmed solo disc that the world is rightfully geeked about.

There’s lots of other stuff out this week that we plan to highlight on an individual basis, so keep checking, record buyers. We gotcha.
