We thought the festivities were over after Tuesday night’s whistle-blowing fiesta, but the F33 train keeps rolling. Lotsa real-life action this weekend with relations to our humble ‘zine. On Saturday, back-yard soccer-phenoms dios (malos) are playing the El Rey in L.A. (rhymes galore!). On Sunday, Animal Collective, F33 cover stars, are playing Webster Hall.
Elsewhere around NY, American Analog Set is playing three NY shows as part of their last tour before dividing and perhaps somewhere down the road, conquering. Also this weekend, on the left coast, Arctic Monkeys are playing Silverlake tonight and SF on Saturday, while GZA and DJ Muggs are spreading their chess-knowledge around Oakland and LA, along with a grip of backpack openers, including Swollen Members and Planet Asia (word to Fresno!).
