We’d gladly shout ourselves horse singing the praises of soul funkateers El Michaels Affair, but fortunately, dudes make it easier for us by doing things like releasing their crowd-pleasing Wu Tang covers on 45, and gigging this Saturday (May 13th) at Southpaw with ’70s originals the Pazant Brothers and Bronx River Parkway (with WFMU dood Mr Fine Wine spinning in between). These kids continually drop gems like it’s nothing! Don’t sleep, ladies and gents.
