As we lacquer our toenails in warm weather anticipation, there are certain vestiges of Winter we’re all happy to let go of (long johns, scratchy sweaters) and others that it’s always a lil sadder to say au revoir to (boots, cashmere scarfs). We spotted 24-year-old Annalise in Williamsburg wearing her “ventilated” boots and knew that somehow Summer 06 would never be the same again. Annalise’s vintage booties are made from leather, but for more bold and breezy footwear go see the Campana Brother’s Vans-inspired jellys for Melissa shoes.
