Last night was supposed to be the NYC stopover of the Diplo/Bonde Do Role/CSS tour we've been so amped about...but the gig got cancelled that morning. Not to be discouraged, Dip and the Bonde kids sauntered over to Stereo around midnightish - the venue was supposed to house that night's afterparty, but instead BDR ripped through one live-ass, one-microphone, standing-on-the-speakers full set. People drank and danced (and drank some more) to technofied soccer chants and international thumpers, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to spend a Wednesday night. However, the ladies (and dude) of CSS were conspicuously absent. We find out in the inbox this AM that they were just posted up at the hotel, taking photos of each other while modeling tour merchandise. Zany! Tonight's show at Brooklyn's Warsaw is promised to go on as scheduled, with everyone in attendance - hope to see you all there, too.
