If Rick Ross and Ghostface are in the building, most likely we’ll be in the building as well. And we were, for the Boost Mobile RockCorps concert at Chicago’s Logan Square Auditorium last night, which rewarded community-conscious youth for putting in hours to help revitalize Ogden Park.

Bawwws Rawwwss pumped through a "these are the songs you know" set of "Chevy Ridin High," "Holla at Me" (his verse and bookend choruses only, no Weezy imitations), "Hustlin," and "Blow."

Then, Ghost was Ghost. Hits for days, White Sox shout-outs and, as always, the flyest jewelry.

Dude never lets us down.

The lineup of heavy hitters was extra solid but to us, the rhyme of the night came from open mic contestant, Mechanism, who claimed himself to be the "first rapper to get brain on the Pink Line." Chicago can feel that.
