Another mail day, another great Fabric comp. It’s easy to overlook these mixes knowing that in a few weeks a new collection of 120 BPMish dance tracks from the London superclub’s fave DJs will arrive in another cardboard cover to take its place, but this new edition from the Glimmers is extra solid, kicking off with watery, mostly instrumental disco joints, gradually speeding up to the shuffling guitars of Optimo’s “Dance Me In” remix for Sons and Daughters and LCD Soundsystem’s “Disco Infiltrator,” then spending the last third of the mix getting real, real weird. Make sure it makes its way out of your listening pile onto your actual CD spinner.
