We busted out the Sharpies and connected the tour dots for Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks’ Western swing and realized it looked like a homemade hockey stick, so we’re naming this tour “Jickin’ Your Five-Hole with The Malkmus Blacksweaters.” In case you haven’t heard, Janet Weiss, former drummer of Sleater-Kinney, has joined the Jicks, and she swings her fists like a Hanson, which we like (for reals). Check the full tour schedule after the Zamboni.
